Day 28. Condobolin, NSW

 Sunday 13.3.22

Went for a ~3km walk exploring Molong.

Our view from the front of the van.

You can see the debris from the 2021 floods still on the railway bridge.

Walk track beside Molong Creek.

Old railway station.
On to Manildra.
Flour mill.

Stopped to fill up the tanks with water in Manildra and had morning tea at the same time. Bonus we got to see the worlds slowest train coming in to the mill.

Went to check out a couple of 'Elvis' things in Parkes.

Drove through Bogan Gate on the way to Condobolin.
We've decided to stay 2 nights and have the afternoon off. The lake looks awesome.  People are swimming and boating but there's a storm coming in.

Mark using a window for an awning as the storm started.

Storm lasted about an hour.
Cooked dinner,  garlic prawn risotto, up by the lake and watched the sunset 😍

Today we travelled 184kms.
