Day 38. Hopetoun, Victoria.

Wednesday 23.3.22

Today we head south. I'm tipping we will have snow soon seeing it's about the only weather we haven't encountered yet 🤔

Our first stop was in Redcliffs to see Big Lizzie.

Grapevines used as shade in car parks in Redcliffs.
We found a very quirky cafe for morning tea. Coffee was great as was the decor.

Stopped in a park at Ouyen to make lunch.

Couldn't go past Lascelles without stopping at the grain silo.

Don't know why people have to ruin the signs.
We have set up by Lake Lascelles in Hopetoun. There are both paid and free camping areas with ammenities scattered around. Above pic is out my bedroom window and below is the view from the doorway.

Ducks enjoyed the sunset too.
The cool change after the heat wave in Mildura has been noticeable all day. It's been roughly 10°cooler. We rugged up and sat around the camp fire until 10.

Today we travelled 192kms.
