Day 22. Tamworth, NSW

 Monday 7.3.22

2 walks this morning before we packed up. Barraba has a lot of cement footpaths for a small rural town. More than Howard does.

Our camp spot.  Rained during the night.

Bridge across the Manilla River.

Street art.

Silo art on the way out of Barraba.

Stopped for morning tea in Manilla.

Memorial cemetery for the Chinese pioneers.

We are staying at the Tamworth showgrounds for a couple of nights. $25 for power, water and amenities. The weather has cooled and we've dragged out warmer clothes to watch a movie outside tonight.

We travelled 96kms today.

With more storms predicted we've decided to head further inland. At this stage we'll go south west to Mildura and then head south through Victoria. Hopefully we'll explore more of the coast on the way home.
