Day 44. Marcus Hill, Victoria

Tuesday 29.3.22

We walked the perimeter of the van park this morning, 1.6kms. You can see by all the facilities they have why they charge a huge fee.

Toyota!

Lots of exploring today.

Point Lonsdale pier, Lighthouse and bunkers.

The fun police strike again. No cycling up the stairs 🤷‍♀️
Next town on our tour was Queenscliff.

We have done the tour of the fort on a previous trip.

137 steps up the 360° tower and 137 back down again.

The ferry was in dock.
View from halfway down the town.

We hadn't been to St Leonards before. Nice little jetty where people were catching squid and the manta rays play.

The pier at Port Arlington is being revamped. We walked out here quite a few years ago when my Uncle and Aunt lived here.

A couple of lovely mermaids 🧜‍♀️ 🧜‍♀️  on the rocks.

Some one left a few mosaics along the rock wall.
Went to Drysdale to get some gas and a few groceries.

Tomorrow we take the ferry across to explore the Mornington Peninsula and on towards Phillip Island. Today we did a 73km loop of the area.

The red is what we have completed and the green is what we may still do.
