Day 54. Wantirna.

Friday 8.4.22

Today is our grand daughter Millies 11th birthday and my brother in law, Mark,( one of our hosts) birthday as well. 🎂🎂

We have a busy day planned.  Going for a ride on Puffing Billy,  which I haven't done since my sons 3rd birthday, so 1989. We will be going out for dinner to a Vietnamese restaurant with Andrea and Mark and a few of their friends.

This is the only train I've ever been on where we were encouraged to hang out the window.

We got off the train at Lakeside, Emerald, and walked around the lake. Due to the train running late to depart Belgrave we didn't have a lot of time to explore. The trees were changing colours as autumn progresses.  So pretty to see.

Another place we use to visit when the kids were young.

After a very busy day we had a delicious Vietnamese dinner and drinks back at A&Ms until the wee hours of the morning. 

We drove a whole 32kms today.
