Day 82. New Italy, NSW.

Friday 6.5.22

Rained overnight. Made things even more soggy.

Short walk around the block before we head off to Kempsey.
Our first stop was in South Kempsy.
We were going to stop here on the way down but the weather prevented us.

Macleay Valley wildlife photography display.

So many awards. This wasn't all of them.

Started raining again as we left.
Australias' longest bridge at 3.2km long.

Coming into Coffs Harbour.
Must've been the day for old purple cars.

The obligatory big things photo and we enjoyed a chocolate coated frozen banana.
Even more rain as we head back up the coast to the places we visited at the start of our journey.

We've stopped the night at a rest area behind the museum in New Italy. For a donation you can use the car park and loos. Very much appreciate the asphalt as everywhere else I checked was on grass. No thank you. Our wheels spun in the grass last night. We popped in here once before to use the loos and thought it would be a good place for an overnighter.

Made good use of the break in the rain and wandered around the area.

Today we travelled 443kms, taking our total hitched to 5,429kms.
