Day 19. Woody Head, NSW

 Friday 4.3.22

So today marks 1 year since my son passed away. I had a sleepless night and a very sad morning. I'm trying to keep busy and occupied. 


We're currently in Iluka having a coffee and using the phone reception. 


Rainforest walk. Carpark still under water. Lucky we walked in this time. 8kms by the time we finished. 



Our last sunset here?

The girls and I took a moment to remember Brad together. 

So we have a plan. Apparently we may be able to leave tomorrow. We've decided to go inland towards Glen Innes and leave the coast for the return journey. It has been a beautiful spot to be 'stuck' and we are so grateful we are safe and dry.
