Town & River walk in Balranald.
The reason why I wanted to stop in Balranald was to walk across this swinging bridge over the MurrumbidgeeRiverand do a bush walk. Unfortunately it was closed for maintenance 😕.
For some reason there is a gate at each end of the bridge.
We took the long way around and still did the Murrumbidgee River walk.
The other side of the bridge.
There was some huge trees.
Memorial Gardens.
Lone pine, 20 yrs old.
Discovery centre.
After an early lunch we packed up and headed west.
Perfect spot to stop for an icecream beside the Murray River in Gol Gol, Nsw.
Victoria is so close, just the other side of the river.
Fotherby Park, Wentworth.
P.S Ruby
Thought we'd stay here in the Fotherby Park but we discovered it was full of prickles and mosquitoes so we packed back up and moved out.
We are now staying at the sports ground and it is a million times better.
Today we travelled 185kms, taking the total hitched to 2,453.
