Sunday 27.3.22
We have had an excellent day. There will be squillions of photos again today.
Our day started with a 4. 2km walk around Warrnambool. Went to Flagstaff Hill. It was closed.
On to the war memorial.
It was a really good area that we spent quite a bit of time at reading all the plaques.
A very colourful maze in a huge children's adventure playground.
Packed up and drove to the break wall.
A huge concrete break wall at the harbour. There were lots of people out and about here doing all sorts of activities.
I leant over the break wall to take this pic.
Middle Island was closed.
Lots of people pics today. Decided we'd seen enough of Warrnambool and headed off to play tourist on the Great Ocean Road.
Our first stop was the Bay of Islands. Gunther did some droning here so we look forward to watching the video.
2 nd stop, The Grotto.
3rd stop, London Bridge.
4th stop was at Port Campbell for some refreshments. Very pretty beach.
Our 5th stop was to see the '12' apostles. A few have collapsed over the years.
Our 6th stop on the GOR was to climbed down 83 steps plus pathways to the beach.
Gibson's steps zigzag down the cliff.
Time to find a home for the night. We were worn out after walking over 12 kms today. We gave Gunther that job!
The bridge into Princetown campground. A very nice spot where we can hear waves crashing and spotted numerous satellites. 3 in one view.
Even though our day was jam packed with exploring we only travelled 90kms.

The great Ocean road...one of my favourites...l Iove the photos
