Day 58. Wantirna.

Tuesday 12.4.22

Dentist advised no strenuous exercise for 24 hrs so we waited until it was 24.5 hrs and went for a 3.3km walk around Jells Park.

Jells Park is nestled in the Dandenong Creek Valley, Wheelers Hill, away from the hustle and bustle of urban life. The park attracts over 900,000 visitors a year, with over nine kilometres of paths and trails, 127 hectares of wide open paces. Jells Lake is a beautiful man-made feature with a variable water level that flows from the Dandenong Creek. The park opened on 30 April 1976 and is named after Joseph Jell, a cattle grazier who worked in the area in the mid-late 1800s. *information courtesy of Vic Parks and Wikipedia websites.
