Day 60. Wantirna.

Day 60. Thursday 14.4.22

After some 'plotting and scheming' I've worked out our plan for next week. We'll have a few days at Yarra Junction and do some bike riding on a rail trail before heading to my sisters for the Anzac weekend. After that we will slowly make our way home.

We took my nephews dog for a 6.6km walk beside the creek.
Teddy bears in boxes were put up during covid to amuse people who were exercising during the 5km radius lockdowns.
Locks of love

In the afternoon Mark went for a bike ride while Andrea and I went to visit her mum in the nursing home, now her wing is out of lockdown. Both my former and current mother inlaws have a form of dementia and are in nursing homes.

Waiting for the courtesy bus to take us to dinner.
We caught up with some very long time (former inlaw)family friends from when I lived in the area and had a excellent meal at the local club.
The 4 of us continued the party  when we got home. Mark piked it about midnight and we continued laughing, crying, talking and reminiscing until the wee hours of the morning.
