Day 73. Gundagai, NSW.

Wednesday 27.4.22

The grandstand we are camped behind.
Under the Monash bridge.

After a 2km walk I went home for breakfast and then we jumped on our bikes for a short ride.
Graffitied train.

Coffee by the van before a leisurely departure around 10am.

The wind picked up and we had a few spots of rain so decided to just stay on the Hume Hwy. We have been on that stretch of road many times before and been to most of the small towns already.

We decided to have lunch at the Riverina Hotel in Holbrook, as it's pub night. After we've filled our tummies, it was still raining so we headed off to find a spot for the night somewhere towards Gundagai. This is our 3rd time in Holbrook.

Holbrook Uniting Church.

It rained the whole way to Gundagai where we've set up camp at the Pump House Reserve for the night. Beautiful view of Morleys Creek just outside the door.

The rain stopped just as we were setting up making it a perfect time to sit and have a mocha by the creek.

Not the greatest picture but we had some fast moving wrens join us.

Today we travelled 294kms, taking our total hitched to 4,189kms.
